than 15 years of professional experience
in Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing
and Problem Solving in all areas of
product development from concept to
production.
This automotive engineer turned Information
Technology solutions provider, is
having hands on experience on designing
and implementation of software solutions
for manufacturing and project management.
He presented many papers on manufacturing
and product development in international
conferences. He is recipient of many
awards of excellence during his 15
years experience.
As CEO of Vision, he is responsible
for strategy and operation of Vision
Tech Solutions, USA and India. He
is heading a dedicated team of software
professionals, housed in USA and India.
Prior to this responsibility, Tel
worked with Daimler Chrysler Corporation
for 13 years and held various positions
in Automotive Product Development.
He was instrumental in implementing
GREEN Y pre-emptive problem solving
process within Jeep Body Organization
that resulted in cost-avoidance of
millions of dollars. This strategy
captured the customer enthusiasm limits
up-front and drove the product development
process and put action plan in place
to meet or exceed customer and stockholder
enthusiasm.
This Daimler Chrysler Certified Black
Belt holder of both proactive and
reactive tracks, successfully resolved
several chronic warranty issues that
resulted in significant cost savings
and reduction in customer warranty
claims.
Tel’s major involvement at Daimler
Chrysler was in providing engineering
solutions to pass frontal offset impact
requirements required to sell vehicles
in Europe. Provided engineering solution
to several vehicle safety recalls.
His achievements include Optimized
Product and Die Processes and part
commonization solution that resulted
in reduction in plant complexity and
cost savings in tooling and piece
cost.
Tel K.Ganesan received his MS in
Mechanical Engineering from Wayne
State University, Detroit, Michigan
and BS in Mechanical Engineering from
Anna University, India.
He is an active member in Engineering
Society of Detroit (ESD) and Society
of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
He was past Vice-President of American
Society of Engineers of Indian Origin
(ASEI).
Currently, serving in the executive
committee of The IndUS Entrepreneurs
(TIE), Detroit Chapter.
