Norman Lewis, Sr. Vice - President - Software Strategy, Vision Tech SolutionsNorman Lewis, Sr. Vice - President, Software Strategy, has extensive experience in Automotive Industry and Information Technology. This seasoned veteran worked in Ford for more than 25 years in various positions. After leaving Ford, He is actively participating in number of Technology Development and Community support projects.

At Vision, He guides the company in various software strategy initiatives for Automotive Industry and related applications.

Experience since leaving Ford

July 2001 to the present, at the request of the CIO of Ford Motor company, directing a project at Focus: Hope.

May 1996 to august 1998, Employed at Compuware. Worked on a project to create an IT Out Sourcing Company for the Health care industry. This became a joint venture with the Oakwood HealthCare System, Set up under the name CareTech in 1998.

Consulted with the Greater Detroit Area Health Council (GDAHC) and was a member of the Media Lab project steering committee

June 1996 to march 1997,responding to a request from the chairman of Ford Power Products Division, identified their IT needs to support business expansion, and developed an approach to support these requirements and replace their legacy systems.

October 1995 to April 1996, as a consultant to IBM supporting the design of Information to systems to integrate information flow from the shop floor to the executive level, as a component of the IBM Worldwide Production Solutions.

In 1995 developed a Systems Strategy for the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.
